How to Apply as a Transfer Student

Here at CMU, you’ll choose from nearly 200 academic programs, learn how to apply your knowledge, and do what you're passionate about. Ready to join us? Here’s how to apply to CMU as a transfer student.

Submit all of your application materials by April 1 for the summer/fall semesters, and December 1 for the spring semester, to get priority consideration for our merit scholarships. After April 1, we review applications on a rolling basis.

    Apply Online

As part of the online application, you’ll need to submit a $40 application fee.
