Are you ready to become a CMU Chippewa? As you prepare to fill out your Central Michigan University application use this checklist as your guide.
COVID-19 UPDATE: We support applicants who have been impacted by COVID-19. If you are temporarily unable to obtain the required application materials (transcripts, test scores, etc.) due to coronavirus-related closures of schools and test centers, please contact us at email@example.com or 989-774-4444 to discuss alternative ways of completing your application. We may choose to evaluate unofficial transcripts or test scores, or conduct a holistic review of available materials if a test score does not exist.
1. Submit your application
Apply online at apply.cmich.edu. Completed applications (items 1-3 on this page) received by April 1 will receive priority consideration for access to first-come, first-served academic scholarships. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis. Those received after April 1 will still be evaluated but may result in limited availability of scholarships.
2. Pay the application fee
The application fee can be paid when you submit your application online. The fee is required to process your application.
3. Submit your transcripts
Have your official transcripts sent directly to CMU from all colleges you have attended. If you have completed fewer than 24 college credits, you must also submit your high school transcript. Transcripts can be emailed to
firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to the following address:

Apply for additional scholarships

When will I receive a decision?
