Library Services for Distance Students

The Central Michigan University Libraries offers a full range of services and resources to students taking online classes and Global Campus classes at off campus centers. Wherever you're taking your classes, the goal of the CMU Libraries is to help you be successful.

Distance students have full access to the journals, books, and other materials owned by the library. Much of this information is available online and can be accessed with your CMU Global ID and password.

If the item you need is not available online, you can request electronic or mail delivery of it by contacting the library's Documents on Demand office.

Librarians are available and happy to help you with your research needs. Whether your question is about finding information, identifying the best place to begin your research, or how to use a particular library database, contacting a librarian can make doing research easier and save you time.
