MHTV

Write, shoot, edit, direct, star, and produce television content on Moore Hall Television (MHTV). You can be in front of the camera or crew the show behind the camera on professional studio equipment. All shows are brought to you by students, so if you have an idea for a show, we’ll help you create and produce it. We’ve broadcast: music performance shows, narrative fiction films and shows, sports shows, game shows, cooking shows, improv shows, video game and film critique shows, documentaries, and much more. Get hands-on, practical video production experience while producing video content for the world to see.

MHTV broadcasts 24/7/365 to the Mount Pleasant community on Charter Spectrum cable. Our shows are archived on Vimeo for on-demand viewing. Students may also choose to learn the administrative and management side of television by serving in one of the many MHTV Executive Staff positions. All CMU students are welcome to get involved from their first day on campus.

New show proposals are accepted each semester and are reviewed and selected by the Executive Staff. All shows must have two executive producers, each of whom has been involved with the organization for at least two semesters. One of the producers must have completed BCA 440 (Intro to Cinematic Prod & Post Prod). The cast and crew for shows can consist of any CMU students.
