Peter B. Orlik MAB Foundation Scholarship

The Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation offers FOUR $1,000 scholarships to BCA students in the name of Peter B. Orlik, founder and former director of the School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. 

Offered to BCA Majors or Minors
Must be active in a BCA Co-Curricular Activity to qualify

BCA GPA 3.0 and Overall GPA 2.5

Applications in the Fall semester for the next school year.


Broadcast & Cinematic Arts Annual Scholarships

Below are BCA annual scholarships.  Applications run in the Spring semester for the next school year. Scholarship winners are announced at the BCA Awards Ceremony at the end of the Spring semester.

Offered to BCA Majors or Minors
Must be active in a BCA Co-Curricular Activity to qualify
BCA GPA 3.0 and Overall GPA 2.5
May be renewed in successive years.

Established by Emily & Jason Dizik both ’08 BCA alums.
Offered to BCA Majors who demonstrate a financial need with preference to a student with an interest in sports broadcasting
You must have your FAFSA for next year filed by April 1.
Your application essay must have career goals that include sports broadcasting.

Established by BCA Alumnus Eduardo Fernandez in memory of his parents
Offered to BCA Majors  BCA GPA 3.0 and Overall GPA 2.5
Your application essay must have career goals that encourage diversity in the media.

Named in Memory of Kelly Fitzpatrick (JRN major) and Bruce Wood (BCA major) who were engaged to be married and tragically killed in a car accident shortly after graduation from CMU.  Offered to BCA Majors or Minors  BCA GPA 3.0 and Overall GPA 2.5

Named in honor of BCA Alumnus Tim Roberts by the County Music Broadcasters.

Your application essay must include study toward a career in RADIO required.

Established by BCA Alumnus Gary Lico in memory of his parents, Tom and Audrey Lico.

Offered to signed BCA Majors pursuing media management. 

The recipient must demonstrate financial need. You must have your FAFSA for next year filed by April 1.
