Professional Development for Teachers and Administrators

Whether you’re looking to brush up on the latest methods for your subject area or are looking to renew your certification, we’re making it easy. While you’re improving your skills, consider turning those hours into graduate credits.

Michigan educators, administrators and school psychologists need to renew teaching certificates with approved courses for State Continuing Education Clock Hours (SCECHs). Customizable professional development has specific courses approved toward the renewal of your teaching certificate and satisfies 45 SCECHs per course. Designated ed2go courses have been approved by the Michigan Department of Education for SCECHs, and when completed, satisfy 24 SCECHs per course. You’ll complete the course, register for SCECHs and we’ll upload your completion to the Michigan Department of Education’s MOECS. The SCECHs are awarded to your MOECS account, it’s that simple.
