Services for Patrons with Disabilities

Our aim is to make sure that you have what you need from us both online and in person. Whether you're meeting a group for a project, researching for class, or looking for a place to relax, we work to make sure the library space and services are accessible to everyone. Start your visit with barrier-free parking and elevators, then spread out and collaborate at one of many carrels and tables or tackle that research project with a visit to the Library Services Desk or Ask a Librarian online. The library is designed to accommodate and empower.

Retrieving Materials

Books:

You may have books retrieved and held for you at the Library Services Desk on the second floor. You can use the 'place a hold' option in Smart Search. Or you can call 774-3114 or email and provide us with the call number(s) and title(s) of the book(s) you wish to check out.

Most of our periodical subscriptions and articles are available through Smart Search. Some physical periodicals are located on the third floor and do not circulate. They can, however, be scanned or photocopied. If you need assistance, please contact the Library Services desk. Many government documents are online and some are also located on the second floor and may be checked out.
