Complete the Lean Six Sigma application form at least seven days before the workshop begins.
2. Register and pay
Once approved, the $350 workshop fee will be added to your student account or charged to your credit card to secure your spot.
3. Get your textbook
Purchase the required textbook before the workshop begins.

Certification exam information
The Green Belt certification exam includes 100 multiple-choice questions and is completed online.
Students may use:
- Their textbook.
- A calculator.
Additional exam details:
- Three-hour time limit.
- Minimum passing score of 70%.
- First retake is free.
- Additional retakes are $50 each.

Do I need prior Lean Six Sigma experience?
Green Belt is designed for participants who are ready for more advanced process improvement and analytical work. A background in statistics and business coursework is strongly recommended.
What prior coursework is recommended?
Completion of a business statistics course is recommended for Green Belt participants. Additional business coursework or professional experience may also be helpful depending on your background.
How long does the workshop take?
Green Belt workshops are completed through a short-term intensive workshop format designed to fit around academic and professional schedules.
When are workshops offered?
Workshops are typically offered after the fall semester and multiple times following the spring semester.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are available before the workshop begins. Refunds are not available after the first day of the workshop.
