Undergraduate and Graduate Programs

The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions offers undergraduate degrees, certificate programs and graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines. Our programs incorporate interactive classroom learning with research opportunities, clinical experiences and internships to prepare you to succeed in the health professions. Whether you want to provide health care to others or lead change within health care, we have the program for you.

  • Over 2,500 internship/clinical affiliations globally.
  • 1st Athletic Training major (initially Sports Medicine) in the United States.
  • 1st accredited Doctor of Audiology program in the United States.
  • Michigan’s only nationally accredited Environmental Health and Safety program.
  • Graduate programs are ranked by the U.S. News & World Report 2025 Best Graduate Schools:
    • Doctor of Audiology program ranked 1st in Michigan and 29th nationally.
    • Master of Health Administration program ranked 2nd in Michigan and 62nd nationally.
    • Speech-Language Pathology program ranked 3rd in Michigan and 74th nationally.
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy program ranked 4th in Michigan and 154th nationally.
    • Master of Public Health program ranked 5th in Michigan and 137th nationally.
  • Over 100 students and faculty presented findings at the Health Professions Research Symposium last year.
