Partner with ERPsim
ERPsim brings students and industry professionals together in a fast-paced business simulation where learning, mentorship and talent development happen in real time.
As an ERPsim partner, you'll work directly with student teams as they navigate business challenges, make strategic decisions and experience the pressure of managing a company. Along the way, you'll help students build confidence, connect classroom concepts to business practice and gain a clearer understanding of how organizations operate.
Whether you're looking to mentor students, strengthen your organization's presence on campus or connect with future talent, ERPsim creates meaningful opportunities to engage.
What is ERPsim?
ERPsim is an interactive business simulation powered by SAP enterprise software.
Student teams manage a virtual company and make real-time decisions involving forecasting, purchasing, pricing, production and performance management. Every decision affects the business, creating an experience that mirrors the interconnected nature of real organizations.
Since 2014, Central Michigan University has hosted the ERPsim Competition, helping students develop business acumen through hands-on learning while building relationships with industry professionals.
Ways to get involved
Mentor a team
Work directly with students throughout the competition and help them navigate business decisions in real time.
Sponsor the competition
Support scholarships, student engagement and experiential learning opportunities.
Recruit emerging talent
Build relationships with high-performing students and increase awareness of opportunities within your organization.
Why become an ERPsim mentor?
ERPsim mentors don't need to be SAP experts.
Students participate in practice sessions before the competition and learn how to use the simulation tools. What they need most is someone who can help them think strategically, communicate effectively and understand the broader implications of their decisions.
As a mentor, you'll help students:
- Think critically about business decisions and outcomes.
- Connect individual choices to organizational performance.
- Collaborate effectively under pressure.
- Manage competing priorities and limited resources.
- Develop confidence as future professionals.
Your experience helps students see the bigger picture and better understand how business functions work together.
Benefits for mentors and organizations
ERPsim creates value for both students and participating companies.
Through the competition, you can:
- Build relationships with talented business students.
- Observe teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills in action.
- Identify potential interns and future employees.
- Share industry knowledge and professional insight.
- Increase your organization's visibility within the College of Business.
- Give back to the next generation of business leaders.
Unlike a traditional recruiting event, ERPsim allows you to spend meaningful time working alongside students as they solve problems and adapt to changing conditions.
