Giving opportunities

Thank you for considering a gift to the Museum of Cultural and Natural History at Central Michigan University. Please review our giving opportunities below. To make a gift to any of these funds, you can visit the Central Michigan University online giving form or contact the University Advancement Office.

    Donations to the Friends of the Museum fund are used for general operating support of the museum, including acquiring collection objects, funding educational programs, and supporting collections preservation activities.

    The Museum of Cultural and Natural History Internship Program Award supports an annual scholarship given to one or more undergraduate students minoring in Museum Studies to assist with access to, and participation in, internship opportunities. It is funded by gifts from Central Michigan University alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, and friends.

    The Museum Endowment provides long-range support for the operation and improvement of the museum.

    The Walter P. Nickell Natural History Scholarship Endowment supports an annual scholarship given to an undergraduate student minoring in Museum Studies who is interested in pursuing natural history as a career.
