Museum Events

The Museum of Cultural and Natural History at Central Michigan University hosts a variety of events each year to support research and teaching in cultural and natural history. Visit the CMU Events Calendar for information about upcoming events.

Curious Curators

The museum hosts Curious Curators annually in June or July. Curious Curators are programs designed for students entering 4th or 5th grades in the fall in an effort to get participants acquainted with National History Day and excited about History! Students must submit an application and write an essay explaining why they are interested in museums and why they should be chosen. If your child is interested, please email the museum with a request to be directly mailed when the next Curious Curator application comes out, and we'll put you on the list.
