Alumni in Military Science and Leadership

The Central Michigan University Army ROTC has a long and proud tradition of commissioning Officers in the United States Army. Since it's inception in 1952, over 1000 Officers have received their Commission through the Chippewa Battalion. The graduates of Central Michigan University Army ROTC stand tall among giants, continuing to live by the values they learned here. Their Military and Civilian careers reflect their commitment to excellence and their determination to choose the hard right over the easy wrong. Chippewa Alumni have distinguished themselves as Soldiers and pillars of their communities. Officers rooted in the Chippewa Battalion have served in every major conflict since 1952, to include those still serving across the Middle East as part of the Global War on Terror. The Chippewa Battalion is proud to have played a significant role in the development of these individuals.

Support the Excellence Fund

Donations positively impact the ROTC Battalion and the Cadet activities. We greatly appreciate any donation to the program, as it helps offset the cost of Cadet participation. Each year our Cadets participate in premier educational training opportunities including, but not limited to a Staff Ride (Normandy/Gettysburg), Army Ten-Mile race in Washington, DC, field training exercises, and Military Ball.  These events are made possible by your generous support.

Please consider contributing to any of the following areas. Your gift will impact all areas of Cadet morale, recruiting, retention, and team building.
