What are the enrollment options?
Once you’re admitted to Central Michigan University, Central Bound students have the option to:
- Take classes at the community college partner school while having active student status at CMU. This status is allowed for up to two years before you have to take a CMU course.
- Take classes at both institutions during any given term. Central Bound student can take advantage of our unique financial aid agreement to enroll at both schools.
Who can participate in Central Bound?
The following student classifications can participate in the program:
- Prospective students applying to earn a bachelor’s degree at CMU or a degree from their partner community college
- Students transferring from a partner community college to CMU
- Current CMU students
