About Central Bound
Central Bound is a formalized partnership between CMU and community colleges in Michigan. The program allows for dual admission and dual enrollment at both institutions. This means you can receive the benefits of being a CMU student while attending community college.
Partner schools
Lansing Community College. LCC students will be able to participate in Central Bound in Fall 2026. Classes are available online or in person at the Mount Pleasant campus.

Central Bound makes it easier to earn your degree by connecting your community college experience with Central Michigan University. It’s designed to save you time, money, and stress—while keeping you on track to graduate. Central Bound will give you the opportunity to dual enroll at LCC and CMU to meet your education goals! If you're taking classes at your community college and CMU during the same semester, a financial aid agreement lets you apply your aid to both.Know your credits will transfer
