Central Michigan University has been named to Forbes’ annual list of the top 500 colleges.
CMU ranks as the sixth-best public university in Michigan and is one of 15 schools from the state to make the list. In addition, Forbes ranks CMU as the #76 school in the Midwest and #193 for public colleges nationwide.
Forbes uses 14 metrics, including graduation rate, retention rate, debt and alumni salary, to determine which 500 American colleges offer the best educational, financial and career outcomes for all students.
