Students, faculty, and staff can now register for CMU’s Adobe Creative Jam kick-off on September 14th from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
The Adobe Creative Jam is both fun and helps to build your resume through showcasing your video editing and storytelling skills. Participants will learn Adobe Premiere Rush video editing software from an Adobe trainer. After that, you will have time to apply your new knowledge and submit your own video to compete in the Jam.
The Adobe Digital Lounge will also provide in-person and virtual support for anyone participating in the Creative Jam.
In-person and online participants are welcome to participate in the kick-off event on September 14th. The event includes a keynote, training with an Adobe expert, prizes, and then time to ask questions and enjoy food provided by Adobe. In October, there will be a viewing party where we’ll watch some of the best videos submitted and the Jam winners will be announced.
Participating in the Creative Jam offers high-impact, project-based learning. It helps students in every discipline gain various skills, including career readiness, increased confidence, career management, professionalism, digital literacy, oral, visual, and written communication.
