Tune in Friday, April 11 at 1 p.m. for great ideas and fierce competition. Then, join the judges, mentors, spectators and teams as they see who is going home with thousands of dollars in venture financing. The awards broadcast begins at 6:30 p.m. and one team will walk away as the overall best venture.

Central Michigan University’s College of Business Administration is the home of the Isabella Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship and the first Department of Entrepreneurship in the state of Michigan. We are a student-centric hub where experiential, curricular, and external entrepreneurial opportunities intersect.

Our mission is to maximize student success by fostering a campus-wide entrepreneurial mindset that promotes inter-disciplinary collaboration and the creation of new ventures.

We aim to create innovative programming, boost cross-campus and ecosystem collaboration and provide a comprehensive mentoring program.

Our institute provides extracurricular opportunities and is open to all undergraduate and graduate CMU students.

Central Michigan University is offering its second special event housing in Larzelere Hall for December 2023 Commencement. We welcome Alumni, family members and supporters to stay on campus as they celebrate their CMU graduate.

December Commencement Housing is available Friday, Dec. 15-Sunday, Dec. 17. A two-night package (Friday-Sunday) is $360. Pricing is for the entire two-bedroom, non-air conditioned suite. Each suite holds up to four guests. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Those interested in staying on campus for December Commencement Weekend should register online by Friday, Dec. 8.

CMU offered its first special event housing in Larzelere Hall for Homecoming 2023. This offered Alumni, family members and supporters to stay in the heart of campus. “It was great to be able to stay in the dorms as it was a good location and quite nostalgic,” said one guest.

Special event housing in Larzelere Hall will also be available for May 2024 Commencement. Register online by Friday, April 26, to stay on campus for May Commencement Weekend.
