 1.  Application Deadline

The application deadline for our Fall 2022 Au.D. Program is January 15, 2022.

ALL applicants must apply only to CSDCAS , an online application service.  Do not apply to CMU's College of Graduate Studies.  The CSDCAS student portal launch date is 7/15/2021 for the 2022 application cycle.  If you start the process prior to the launch date, your information will be deleted.  Three letters of recommendation are required.  Two of the three letters of recommendation must come from CSD faculty.  

2.  Supplemental Fee 

Log onto our payment portal to pay your supplemental fee.

3.  Letters of Recommendation

Three letters of recommendation are required.  Of the three required, two must come from CSD faculty - an instructor that had you in his/her class. 

4.  ECE, WES, Josef Silney and Associates, Inc., or Spantran Requirements

Coursework taken at international institutions (from non-English speaking countries) must be evaluated by ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.), WES (World Education Services), Josef Silney and Associates, Inc., or Spantran. Official transcripts and an official course-by-course evaluation must be sent from the evaluation service directly to CSDCAS and to The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions, CHP Admissions Office, HPB 1250G, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48859. Canadian students are exempt from this requirement.

5.  TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

All prospective students who are not citizens of a TOEFL-exempt country must submit a satisfactory test score on the TOEFL or IELTS. Score requirements: 79 or 6.5 on the TOEFL/IELTS for regular admission, 61-78 or 5.5 and 6.0 for conditional admission. For more information on TOEFL requirements, please reference the Graduate Bulletin.

6.  I-20

All international students are required to submit to CMU an I-20 Affidavit/Statement of Support form, along with evidence of financial support.  Contact the College of Graduate Studies for more information. Note:  I-20 information is not required at the time of application; however, if you are offered a position in the program and you accept the offer, you will then have to provide your I-20 documentation.
