Application Deadline

The application deadline for our Fall 2014 AuD Program is January 15, 2014.

ALL applicants must apply using CSDCAS, an online application service. The student portal will launch on September 18, 2013, for the 2014 application cycle.  Log on to CSDCAS to access the online  application.  Prior to starting the application process, please read the FAQs and Instructions, which are available on the CSDCAS web site.  Also, log on to the CAPCSD web site to review our AuD Program Directory to insure you have met all the program and application requirements.    

Supplemental Application & Fee

ALL applicants are required to complete and submit the Supplemental Application and Fee.  Download and complete the supplemental application on your computer.  Applications completed by hand will be rerturned to the student.  Mail the application and fee to the name and address listed on the last page of the spreadsheet.

Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

ALL applicants are required to take the GRE, and your scores must be sent direclty from ETS to CSDCAS.  To submit your GRE scores, provide ETS with CMU's new codes: Institution Code/Name is 0742 Central MI U CSDCAS, and the Department Code/Name is 0602 Audiology.

No other test scores are accepted in lieu of the GRE.  Any applicant with GRE scores five years or older must retake the exam.

ECE, WES, or Josef Silney and Associates, Inc. Requirements

Coursework taken at international institutions (from non-English speaking countries) must be evaluated by ECE (Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc.), WES (World Education Services), or Josef Silney and Associates, Inc. Official transcripts and an official course-by-course evaluation must be sent from the service directly to CSDCAS and to the College of Health Professions, CHP Admissions Office, HPB 1212, Mt. Pleasant, MI 48859. Canadian students are exempt from this requirement.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)

All prospective students who are not citizens of a TOEFL-exempt country must submit a satisfactory test score on the TOEFL or IELTS. Score requirements: 79 or 6.5 on the TOEFL/IELTS for regular admission, 61-78 or 5.5 and 6.0 for conditional admission. I-20

All internaional students are required to submit to CMU an I-20 Affidavit/Statement of Support form, along with evidence of financial support.  Contact the College of Graduate Studies for more information.
