College of Health Professions Scholarships
Each year, The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions proudly awards several scholarships to our students. Provided through the generosity of our alumni, friends, faculty, and staff, each scholarship enhances students’ academic experiences and is a testament to the strength of our programs.
Below you'll find the available scholarships and application requirements. Our College of Health Professions scholarship applications are a part of Scholarship Universe and requires a cmich login. The deadline to apply for the following scholarships is April 1st.
Masterson-Teik Family Endowed Scholarship
Application requirements:
- Junior or senior student at CMU.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Enrolled in a clinical program within The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions.
- Preference is given to first-generation students.

Application requirements:
- Sophomore, junior, or senior student at CMU.
- Signed major within the School of Health Sciences.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.

Louise A. Williams and Jane McNamara Endowed Award
Applicant requirements:
- Junior or senior student at CMU.
- Pursuing a major in The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Preference is given to a student who is a resident of Isabella County.

Applicant requirements:
- Undergraduate student at CMU.
- Signed major in The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must demonstrate leadership in their discipline.
Health Professions Dean's Scholarship Application
The Chuck Curtiss Beauty in Life Scholarship
Applicant requirements:
- Undergraduate student at CMU.
- Pursuing a major in The Herbert H. & Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Preference is given to a student who is a resident of Michigan.
- Must submit an essay that expresses how you have dealt with a loss in your life (loved one, pet, or any other loss) and were still able to see the beauty in life.
