CMU to host financial aid application workshops

      by User Not Found

As part of its mission to focus on the needs of students, Central Michigan University’s Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is hosting two workshops to guide students and supporters through changes to the application process. These workshops are open to everyone.

The workshops will take place from 2-4 p.m. on March 14 and 15 in the Education and Human Services computer lab in room 131.

Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid is critical to maximize the amount of aid a student receives, said Sarah Kasabian-Larson, director of the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

Having financial aid professionals available to help students navigate the process is critical support for that, she said.

Students will need their federal student aid identification username and password. Financial aid office staff can help students who need help with that, too, she said.

Kasabian-Larson said she hopes to hold FAFSA workshops on an annual basis.
