Nick Long VP of Finance and Administrative ServicesCentral Michigan University President Bob Davies today announced that he has accepted the resignation of Nick Long, vice president of finance and administrative services and chief financial officer.

Long joined the university in July 2020, following the retirement of the previous vice president, Barrie Wilkes.

Davies said he would soon appoint a committee to lead a national search for CMU’s next finance and administrative services vice president, but noted that the important work of that division would still continue in the interim period.

Davies appointed Mary Hill, associate vice president of financial services and reporting and controller for CMU, to serve as interim vice president. In her role, she will work collaboratively with Lori Hella, associate vice president of human resources, and Jonathan Webb, associate vice president for facilities management, to provide leadership and oversight for operations of the finance and administrative services division.
