Scholarships for French study abroad

Our department offers several scholarships to help fund your French studies abroad. Amounts vary by year and by the number of applications.

  • Gilles Labrie Scholarship (French majors): $300-$600 (depending on length of stay)
  • Edana Duguay Scholarship (French majors or minors): $300-$600 (depending on length of stay)
  • Groen Award (students staying with a family; homestay not dorm)

Finally, the Office of International Engagement offers several scholarships:

  • OGE Study Abroad Scholarship: up to $4,000 for semester-long programs and up to $1,000 for summer programs
  • OGE Global Learning Scholarship: up to $4,000 for semester-long programs and up to $1,000 for summer programs
