Engagement Committee

The goal of the committee is to enhance the organizational environment, a university strategic priority, by supporting our efforts to create and sustain a community of mutual respect, trust and dignity at all levels of the College of Medicine. The committee will help foster and facilitate opportunities for success among students, residents, faculty and staff by:

• Recommending initiatives, programs, policies and practices to promote mutual respect, trust and dignity among students, residents, faculty and staff.
• Promoting an environment where students, residents, faculty and staff feel valued and supported.
• Advising on the best approaches to recruit and retain and develop students, residents, faculty and staff who advance the College of Medicine’s mission, vision and values.
• Reviewing current recruitment and retention efforts and identifying opportunities to enhance engagement and enrichment among students, residents, faculty and staff.
• Monitoring the engagement and enrichment initiatives for specific outcomes and to ensure that such initiatives are consistent with the College of Medicine’s strategic plan.
