College of Medicine Faculty and Staff

The Covenant HealthCare College of Medicine at Central Michigan University faculty and staff are our most valuable resource. The faculty and staff of the college are dedicated to achieving the mission, realizing the vision and upholding values of the medical college. Our emphasis is on training the next generation of physicians to provide patient-centered and evidence-based health care for medically underserved populations in Michigan. We aim to engage our physicians in leading health care transformation, lifelong learning and team-based education.

The Office of Faculty and Staff Employment Services provides professional and personal development and support for all those working for our college to succeed. Faculty and Staff Employment Services team members work with the discipline chairs and the Faculty Appointment and Advancement Committee to manage the appointment, reappointment, promotion and tenure process. Other areas include oversight of the faculty annual performance and academic review process, staff development and faculty and staff recruitment.

Also managed by the office of employment services are the faculty physicians in our communities who generously donate their time and expertise.

Information about being and becoming one of the more than 1,500 volunteer community educators, as well as relevant community faculty development resources, can be found by using the College of Medicine Faculty and Staff Employment Services link in the left navigation.
