Fellows benefit from a dynamic curriculum, passionate leadership, and diverse clinical settings that span the full spectrum of pediatric psychiatric pathology and acuity. With strong community partnerships and an emphasis on integrated, inclusive care, the program equips future child and adolescent psychiatrists to lead, innovate, and deliver high‑quality mental health services to underserved populations across Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay region. It has been approved for 6 positions, three spaces in each of the two years required for a fellow to earn board eligibility.
Critical Care Medicine Fellowship
The Central Michigan University Critical Care Medicine Fellowship offers a newly accredited, high‑impact training experience designed to prepare future intensivists through rigorous clinical exposure, strong faculty mentorship, and a collaborative, supportive learning environment. Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, fellows will train across two closely connected hospitals—Covenant Medical Center and MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw—gaining hands‑on experience with diverse, high‑acuity pathologies while working alongside multidisciplinary teams. With abundant opportunities for research, quality improvement, and advanced procedural training supported by a state‑of‑the‑art simulation lab, the program empowers fellows to help shape a growing fellowship and make a meaningful impact on critical care delivery in Michigan’s Great Lakes Bay Region.
