Our Doctor of Physical Therapy program embraces accountability, caring and compassion, social responsibility, and other core values of the physical therapy profession. The curriculum follows a case-oriented educational model that places the multiple dimensions of patient care at the center of our curriculum.
Our mission, vision, and core values
Mission: The Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy prepares knowledgeable, skillful, reflective, and ethical physical therapists who practice with sound clinical reasoning to enhance the health, function, and well-being of their patients, partners, and society.
Vision: The Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy will be nationally recognized for developing Physical Therapy professionals who bring knowledge and skills to society for optimizing movement, health and well-being.
Core values: The Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy embraces the core values of the physical therapy profession: accountability, altruism, collaboration, compassion and caring, duty, excellence, inclusion, integrity, and social responsibility.
