Continuing Medical Education

Accredited Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians and health care professionals has been ongoing in Saginaw for over 50 years. The Covenant HealthCare College of Medicine at Central Michigan University is proud to continue this tradition. CME is committed to fostering an environment rich in professional development opportunities for the health care community that enhances life-long learning.

In 2024, the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) awarded the college a four year Accreditation to provide CME for physicians. The ACCME employs a rigorous review process to ensure its accredited providers offer high quality continuing medical education and training focused on evidence-based medical knowledge, patient care and procedural skills, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, systems-based practice, and values and ethics.
