Information Technology
The Healthcare Information Technology department within the Office of Information Technology directly services the College of Medicine, The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions, CMU Medical Education Partners, CMU Health, and University clinical operations. The team is distributed between the main Central Michigan University campus in Mt. Pleasant and in Saginaw.
Our office provides a variety of technology services to support the health-related technology needs of the University. This includes local technical service for supported units, as well as maintaining all of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) aligned workstations, servers, and applications.
Located in Health Professions Building 2265, our Healthcare IT Service Center provides centralized access to supported faculty and staff on CMU's main campus. We also have a presence in the College of Medicine's educational building in Saginaw.
