Our Pediatric Residents take an active role in the interview process and selection of the incoming residency class. They advocate for patients and access to quality care.  The residents experience a multicultural environment and diverse backgrounds while supporting each other's wellness.

Why did you choose CMU: I was drawn to the welcoming environment of the CMU Pediatrics program. As a smaller program, it offers the opportunity to build close, direct relationships with faculty members. I believe this setting fosters personalized mentorship and constructive feedback, which are essential for my growth and development as a pediatric resident.
Personal Hobbies/Interests: Playing soccer, cooking and reading.
Favorite things to do around Michigan: Exploring the state through scenic road trips and peaceful nature walks.

Favorite things to do around Michigan: I enjoy how Detroit downtown has a lot to offer for fun activities. Frankenmuth during Christmastime is beautiful. I'm looking forward to exploring North Michigan now.

Why did you choose CMU: The supportive environment and the opportunity to work closely with faculty and peers made CMU the perfect fit for my professional and personal growth.
Personal Hobbies/Interests: Outside of medicine, I enjoy painting, trying out new recipes, exploring local coffee shops, and spending time outdoors.
Favorite things to do around Michigan: I love weekend trips, spending time at the lakes, and exploring Michigan's small towns and farmers' markets.

Why did you choose CMU: I chose CMU because the faculty were kind and approachable, and the close-knit environment promised strong mentorship and a welcoming place for learning.
Personal Hobbies/Interests: I love spending time with family, doing henna art, cooking, traveling, and going to the gym.
Favorite things to do around Michigan: I am new to Michigan! So far, I love all of the nature, and I can't wait to explore coffee shops, find my favorite food spots, and visit the neighboring cities!
