Sport Management Alumni

CMU’s Sport Management alumni have built successful careers in professional sports, collegiate athletics, national governing bodies, nonprofit organizations, and private‑sector sport agencies. Their accomplishments demonstrate the strength of CMU’s academic preparation and the value of experiential learning throughout the program. Many return to campus each year to speak to students, participate in panels, and recruit for internships. Sport management student, Quintin Hunsinger, stands on the State Farm Stadium football field covered in red and yellow confetti with the Super Bowl 57 Champions, Kansas City Chiefs football players pictured on the jumbotron behind him in the endzone.

Notable alumni achievements include recognition within major sports leagues, such as leadership awards for innovation and excellence in fan and guest experience management. Alumni working across organizations like the NBA, MLB, NCAA, and Olympic governing bodies highlight the strong industry pipeline CMU provides.

The CMU Alumni Association offers graduates opportunities to stay connected, attend events, network professionally, and mentor current students. Alumni engagement remains a point of pride for the Sport Management programs, strengthening the professional ecosystem available to new graduates.
