Join us and learn about the department of recreation and event management
reCREATE will give you the opportunity to explore the programs offered by CMU’s Department of Recreation, Parks, and Leisure Services Administration.
Sessions for guests will include:
- Hearing about the creation and organizing of the only student-run Gus Macker basketball tournament in the world.
- Participate in wheelchair basketball.
- Explore CMU's Adventure Center which includes a rock climbing wall and indoor ropes course.
Guests will also have the opportunity to tour campus while also meeting with current students and faculty.

On this visit you'll:
• Select a hands-on opportunity that is of interest to you,
• Hear from the team of students tasked with organizing the event,
• Tour campus as well as the buildings specific to the College of Education and Human Services.
