Professional Career Interests: I have an interest in academic emergency medicine and plan to incorporate teaching, quality improvement, and research into my professional career as an EM Physician. Most importantly, I aim to deliver excellent evidence-based patient-centered care for the entirety of my career.

I am from Southwestern Ontario, so it was important for me to stay close to home; Saginaw is a short drive from the Canadian border and my hometown. Dr. Cowling and all the other faculty members strive to build an environment that is conducive to learning through the excellent didactic and simulation program that complements the experience we obtain on the ground floor at the two teaching hospitals, Covenant and Ascension St. Mary’s. It is clear from the professional attitudes and high proficiency of the senior residents that the CMU EM program will ensure I can become a strong EM Physician.
