A Living and Learning Community

The Education and Human Services Residential College (EHSRC) is a community that supports freshmen and transfer students who are pursuing education and human service related professions. This unique living-learning environment helps prepare students for the ideal college experience and for future success in an education or human service related career.

The EHSRC is the proud home of the Future Educators Learning Community (FELC) and STEM Education Scholars. For more information follow the links on the right.

About the EHSRC
The EHS Residential College core programming is designed around each of these 5 areas:
  • Community
  • Leadership
  • Academics
  • Service
  • Scholarship

Students who choose this friendly, supportive community are given opportunities to excel as an individual and as part of a team focusing on academics, community building, volunteer service, leadership development and professional development.

The EHSRC is a partnership service provided by The College of Education and Human Services and the CMU Office of Residence Life.
