In accordance with the University, all face-to-face STEM programs are canceled until further notice. Check back soon for information about virtual programming.

To better accommodate your child's learning plan this year we are:

  • Providing programs during the school day for at-home learners

  • Creating pick-up kits to give your children the hands-on experience we value

  • Using feedback from you to better align program dates and times with your schedules.

Help us make this year work for you! Look over our programs, find those that interest you and let us know when your child is available to attend by filling out the form below.

The Center for Excellence in STEM education’s goal is to provide quality STEM education experiences for teacher education students, K-12 students and families and in-service teachers and schools at Central Michigan University.  Our intention is to offer programs that demonstrate the integration of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through community outreach, student programming, and professional development.

Below are shortcuts to programs that are happening right now!

The work of the Center for Excellence in STEM Education is generously supported in part by the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation.
