Chemistry and Biochemistry Student Organizations
Connect, collaborate and grow: student organizations in chemistry and biochemistry
Getting involved in student organizations is one of the most rewarding ways to enhance your academic experience. Within the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Central Michigan University, student-led groups provide opportunities to build leadership skills, network with peers and professionals, engage in community outreach, and explore career pathways in the chemical sciences. Whether you're aiming for graduate school, a career in industry, or simply want to connect with others who share your passion for science, these organizations offer support, inspiration, and practical experience outside the classroom.
American Chemical Society student members
The American Chemical Society Student Members is open to all students with an interest in chemistry. Our focus is on community involvement, student–student interaction, student–faculty interaction, and professional career development.
