At CMU, the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies offers you more than just a degree, it opens the door to a vibrant community of honor societies, service clubs, and professional organizations. These opportunities help you connect with like-minded peers, build valuable relationships with faculty and industry professionals, and get a head start on your future in the field.
The Geography and Environmental Studies Club conducts both professional and fun activities on and off campus. Recent events include a camping trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, canopy walk at Dow Gardens in Midland, guest speakers, information about graduate schools, pumpkin carving, volunteering, and trivia nights.
