Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics is a national LGBTQ-affirming organization that aims to provide services and support for students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and to create a dynamic network between students and professionals in industry and academia.

Society of Women Engineers

The mission of the Society of Women Engineers is to empower women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, to expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and to demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion. Organization of Women Leaders

The Organization of Women Leaders is a group of independent, strong, and courageous students from all over campus who come together to spread awareness about gender equality at Central Michigan University and the surrounding community.

Actuarial Student Fraternity Gamma Iota Sigma

GammaSAID (Solutions for Authenticity, Inclusion, and Diversity) is Gamma Iota Sigma’s student-centered diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy driving long-term insurance industry talent pool growth, diversification, and accessibility. GammaSAID engages both students and industry stakeholders to amplify authenticity, inclusion, and diversity within the insurance industry through the development of resources, forums, and actionable solutions.

Women in Technology is an organization built by women to empower everyone pursuing an education/career in CS/IT.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)

The National Society of Black Engineers mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. We meet every Monday at 7pm in ET 138.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

Founded on the Hispanic values of hard work and a sense of family, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers seeks to empower individuals to realize their fullest potential academically, professionally, and as a member of our community. SHPE meetings are a place for everyone, regardless of major, and especially for underrepresented groups, to feel welcome and at home.
