| Details: | The CMU Drone Lab is offering the FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone training course to faculty and staff on June 30 and July 1 from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. each day. This course is a two-day compressed course preparing you to take the FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Operator license exam. Any faculty or staff wishing to use drones as part of classes or other work for CMU are required by the FAA to have a commercial drone operator's license. The course will cover federal regulations, weather, safety, operations and will include the opportunity to fly drones during the course. Lunch will be provided. There is a nominal charge for the course of $500. Registration for the course is open until June 23 at 5 p.m. |
