Central Michigan University encourages students, family, staff, and faculty to take care of each other.

Central Michigan University is CLOSED from Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 5:00 pm, until Monday, December 1, 2025, at 8:00 am. 

Please understand that any Care report submitted during this time will not be reviewed until Monday, when the University reopens.

What is CMU CARES?

Students at CMU and across the nation face many difficult and personally challenging situations throughout their college career. Mental health concerns, substance abuse, sexual assault, food and housing insecurity, and academic concerns are just a few of the challenges that students may deal with during their time as a student. CMU CARES is a comprehensive support service to help TAKE CARE of our students, faculty, and staff. CMU CARES provides students with helpful information and support navigating campus and community resources to support student well-being and success.
