Black Alumni Chapter Homecoming 2025

Join the Central Michigan University Black Alumni Chapter (CMUBAC) at this year’s Homecoming!

The chapter has planned several special events from Friday, Oct. 24, to Saturday, Oct. 25, that you don't want to miss. Registration is per person and includes a VIP wristband for access to all CMU Black Alumni Chapter homecoming events, plus an exclusive BAC-branded portable umbrella as a keepsake! **Football game tickets and parking passes must be purchased separately.

BLACK ALUMNI REGISTRATION HOMECOMING PACKAGE

• $100 | Standard Rate | 10/6/25 - 10/19/25
• $125 | Walk-Up Registration (Available at CMUBAC Homecoming Welcome Reception, first-come, first-served, while supplies last.)

💛 New this year: CMUBAC Gold Members receive a $10 discount off the registration total!

To ensure you receive the weekend package perks, PRE-REGISTER by Sunday, Oct. 19, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Walk-up package registrations will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

🏡 ALUMNI WELCOME HOME MIXER

6 - 9 p.m. | University Center (UC) 3rd Floor
Welcome home, CMU Black Alumni! Stop by the UC's third floor to mingle with old friends and make new connections. Join us for games, light hors d’oeuvres and networking! Apparel orders and weekend check-in will be available. 

🔥 HOME TEAM ENERGY ALUMNI PARTY 

10:30 p.m. - 2 a.m. | Encore Nightclub
Keep the Homecoming energy going at Encore Nightclub for the Forever Fired Up after-party! Featuring the Detroit Lions  DJ Ray, this will be a night of celebration, music and memories. You won’t want to miss this event!

Saturday, Oct. 25

🎪 BLACK ALUMNI TAILGATE

11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. | Grass Lot Southeast of Kelly/Shorts Stadium
Join us for our annual tailgate! Enjoy great music by DJ Hype, a food truck (registration includes a food voucher!) and dancing.

Parking: Parking is the responsibility of the attendee. Parking on the grass or at the tailgate location is NOT permitted. Only bring items that you can comfortably carry from your parking space. 

There are limited parking passes in Lot 63E, available on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchase parking passes directly through  this link by Oct. 15:

• Select Lot 63E, insert quantity, and click add to cart
• Select for your parking pass(es) to be mailed or picked up at Will Call

Tent Information: Tent space is available for groups at the tailgate location. Tent space is not available for undergraduate RSO's. You must be registered with the Black Alumni Chapter weekend package to reserve a space for your group. Tent size cannot exceed 10x10; only one space is allowed per group. Please list your group's name and the contact person when registering.

Vendors: Calling all Black alumni-owned small businesses! 📣 Join the tailgate as a vendor and sell your items at the BAC tailgate with 500+ attendees. The vendor fee is $100, and you must  complete this form to be pre-approved.

Join your fellow Black alumni as we cheer on the CMU Chippewas to victory!

🎳 THE FINAL FRAME BOWLING PARTY

10:30 p.m. - 12 a.m. | Riverwood Resort
Lace up and hit the lanes with fellow alumni for a night of strikes and laughs. Whether you’re chasing a perfect game or just in it for the fun, this is the place to reconnect and roll into a great time together! Shoe rental included.
