Details:

All of Us have the power to save and heal lives through organ donation!

April is National Donate Life Month. Join the CMU Gift of Life Registered Student Organization for an interactive workshop about organ, eye and tissue donation, a special announcement and a unique volunteer opportunity.

Beginning at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, in the Bovee University Center Terrace Rooms

During the 11 a.m. interactive workshop, participants will learn about transplantable organs and tissues and their functions, why transplants are necessary, and the donation process. The workshop also covers what it means to be on the Michigan Organ Donor Registry.

From noon until 3 p.m., join student volunteers to make comfort blankets, which are given to the families and loved ones of organ and tissue donors at the time of their passing.

And, join us for a special announcement at 1 p.m. in the UC Rotunda, followed by a second interactive workshop at 2 p.m.

These events are open to all CMU students, faculty and staff. We hope to see you there!
