Academic Bulletins
The CMU academic Bulletins provide information about CMU’s academic programs available in an academic year and information concerning admissions, academic regulations and requirements, services available to students, and CMU staff and faculty. Updates and corrections are listed on the website.
Academic Bulletins are updated annually and are valid for seven years. Each bulletin covers a 12-month period, July 1 through June 30. Courses, majors, minors, programs, and degrees are subject to change without notice and may not be available in future bulletins. Students generally follow the bulletin in effect at the time of their initial registration at CMU or another regionally accredited two- or four-year institution. Following consultation with an advisor, students may elect to follow a more current bulletin.
Students are responsible for ensuring that all requirements for graduation have been met. It is expected that students will regularly discuss their plans of study with academic advisors. Central Michigan University reserves the right to modify curricula, rules, policies, fees, program requirements, and courses offered and other information contained in this Bulletin at any time, without notice. The provisions of this bulletin do not constitute a contract, express or implied. Updates and corrections may be reported to the Bulletin editor.
