CHIEF OF STAFF TO THE PRESIDENT
Biography
The Chief of Staff to the President manages and provides leadership for the inner office functions of the Office of the President, setting a tone of professionalism, integrity, responsiveness, and community. The Chief of Staff is also responsible for the supervision of the university ombudsperson. The position coordinates activities of the president's cabinet and ensures exceptional communication among members of the senior leadership team consistent with a strategic focus on accomplishing presidential goals. Commencement and major events, scheduling and logistics, correspondence, and policy implementation are all overseen by the Chief of Staff, who supervises the office team.
