Biography
Fall 2019 marked my second year teaching at the CMU Child Development and Learning Lab. I have been teaching or coaching preschool teachers in early childhood settings since receiving my Bachelor of Science in Child Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood in 2011. Fire Up Chips! I am currently working toward my Master of Education degree in Training and Development and am an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. I have been fortunate enough to visit and observe at the schools near Reggio, Italy and plan to return in summer 2020. My passions include educating both children and adults, adventure and exploration, traveling, and the outdoors. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. I also enjoy trying new things, experiencing new cultures and languages, and finding new ways to connect with nature.
