Biography

Allison K. Arnekrans obtained her doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, and is currently working as an Associate Professor at Central Michigan University. Her professional background includes service as a Licensed Professional Counselor and supervisor working with youth/families, an Employee Assistance Program, and within a partial hospitalization program. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Arnekrans is highly involved at the local, state, and national levels in counseling associations and service to the profession. Her current research interests include personal counseling requirements in graduate programs, telehealth in campus training clinics, student/faculty engagement, and other pursuits.
