See you at the SAC!

The Student Activity Center, or SAC, is the place to get active and get involved. Whether you'd like to take a dip in our state-of-the-art aquatic center or burn some energy in our 12,000 square-foot fitness center, the SAC is where you can move. 

Amenities

Fitness Center:
This 12,500-square-foot space is located on the main level of the SAC.

Weight Training Center:
This 2,900-square-foot weight training area is located on the lower level of the SAC.

Aquatic Center:
The six-lane, 25-yard, 4-foot-deep lap pool has an adjustable floor, a spa and two saunas.

Center Court Indoor Cycling Center:
This 800-square-foot space is located in the center of the main SAC concourse.

Multi-Activity Centers (Mac 1/Mac 2):
Two 5,000-square-foot activity spaces provide space for various activities.

Multipurpose Fitness Center (MP Fit):
This 1,900-square-foot space strives to create a unique and personal fitness experience.

Esports:
The brand-new gaming space is home to CMU’s varsity esports teams.

Sports Forums (large and small):
Six 84-foot-by-50-foot basketball courts provide the opportunity to participate in basketball, volleyball and badminton.

Racquetball Courts:
Six regulation-size racquetball courts are available for use or by reservation. Two courts can be used for wallyball.

    CMU Percussion Ensemble

    The CMU Percussion Ensemble performing on stage at Staples Family Concert Hall under the direction of Dr. Marco Schirripa.
    Details: A concert performed by the CMU Percussion Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Marco Schirripa. This 60-75-minute event is free and open to the public. Guests are welcome to enjoy the concert in person at Staples Family Concert Hall or online on our YouTube Channel (no account necessary).
