Parking permits are required in all campus parking lots Monday—Friday between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Permits are not required on weekdays from 5 p.m. - 2 a.m. or Saturdays and Sundays all day, with the exception of lot #41 where permits are required 24/7.
Guests coming to campus must obtain a Guest Parking Permit. Parking permits are $5 per day and are available 24/7 online at https://parking.cmich.edu or at the CMU Police/Parking Services Department.
Guests will be assigned parking privileges for a specific lot indicated on the guest pass, depending on the location.
Parking permits are virtual and connected to the license plate of the vehicle registered to the permit. The license plate must be visible to the drive lane during enforcement hours. Only vehicles with front license plates may back in or pull through a space.
