Some personal care support may be available for those who feel comfortable, including assistance during shower time. Personal care is based on the student’s comfort level and is not required for everyone who applies. as front-line support for individuals experiencing or approaching crisis
situations. Responsibilities include: responding to incoming crisis calls with
empathy and professionalism, logging and documenting interactions, maintaining
consumer confidentiality, following established protocols and state laws, and
contacting on-call supervisors when needed. MHTs also assist in updating
resources and completing required trainings to maintain skill competency. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years of age,
demonstrate empathy and sound judgment, and possess strong communication and
crisis intervention skills. Preference given to candidates with prior
experience in a call center or human services setting. Must complete all
