The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Central Michigan University prepares graduate students for leadership positions in today's global economy. The program features an active student learning environment with a curriculum that meets the needs of both part-time and full-time students from all over the world.
Research Opportunities and Assistantships
Students are often awarded scholarships in the form of graduate assistantships. As a GA, students are expected to assist faculty members in their research and teaching. All GAs receive the in-state tuition rate for graduate students.
MBA students also have the opportunity to apply for the SAP TERP-10 certification and participate in the
New Venture Competition and ERP Simulations.
Admission to the MBA program requires:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited four-year institution;
- a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7
- undergraduate and graduate transcripts;
- a statement of purpose describing your objectives and general plan for graduate study; and
- a resume.

Students are required to prepare a research paper (Plan B) that is embedded in their final capstone course (Strategic Management: Integrative Perspective). They must also complete an assurance of learning test comprised of 45 questions.
