Program Description

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Central Michigan University prepares graduate students for leadership positions in today's global economy. The program features an active student learning environment with a curriculum that meets the needs of both part-time and full-time students from all over the world. 

Research Opportunities and Assistantships

Students are often awarded scholarships in the form of graduate assistantships. As a GA, students are expected to assist faculty members in their research and teaching. All GAs receive the in-state tuition rate for graduate students.

MBA students also have the opportunity to apply for the SAP TERP-10 certification and participate in the New Venture Competition and ERP Simulations. 

Admission Requirements

Admission to the MBA program requires:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited four-year institution;
  • a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7
  • undergraduate and graduate transcripts;
  • a statement of purpose describing your objectives and general plan for graduate study; and
  • a resume.

Graduation Requirements

Students are required to prepare a research paper (Plan B) that is embedded in their final capstone course (Strategic Management: Integrative Perspective). They must also complete an assurance of learning test comprised of 45 questions.
